The coast path around West Cornwall is both spectacular and varied. From the Helford round to St Agnes via the Lizard and Land's End you will discover ever changing scenery and athmosphere, passing coves, headlands and fishing villages that will charm and surprise you..
But that is not all, the potential for walking in the countryside is enormous. Strolls right around us on the old mining lanes , up Tregonning Hill where china clay was discovered, down to Loe Pool wooded shores the choice is yours.

How and where

For those of you who are staying with us Poldown's very central position in West Cornwall makes all sections of the coast path very accessible. The nearest stretch is at Rinsey 3 miles away.
If there are a few of you we can arrange transport to your chosen hike for the day, and back, for a sensible price.

We keep an extensive selection of maps and guides to suit all ambitions and abilities, from the local stroll to the planned distance hike, and we will be delighted to share with you our local experience.
