Sailing opportunities.

In terms of recreational small craft sailing the best areas are the beautiful river estuaries of the Helford and the Fal. They offer a unique blend of good sailing breezes , sheltered waters and breathtaking scenery.

How and where

For those of you who are staying with us we will be pleased to organise your sails for you with a friendly dinghy and small craft hire at St Anthony near the mouth of the Helford river. By the day or the hour, Toppers Wayfarers and Cornish Crabbers, down to the rowing boat for the less ambitious.

For those more inclined to learning the Falmouth sailing school organises skipper courses, powerboat courses down to VHF skills, which we will be pleased to book on your behalf.

Finally you can hire our own Topper sailing dinghy (fits easily on most roofracks) and take it to wherever you like for the day.

On site facilities

We have ample drying space for your wetsuits and gear when you return, ready for the next day.
We will be pleased to discuss your program with you based on our own sailing experience and knowledge of the area.
