Diving opportunities.

The waters around the Lizard and the Land's End peninsula benefit from the Gulf stream both in terms of temperature and sea life. Dolphins seals and basking sharks are not rare. Jewel anemones and giant kelp provide the background.
In addition they house the largest density of wrecks of all types and age in the UK. This makes the area the top diving destination in the UK.

How and where

For those of you who are staying with us we will be pleased to organise your dives for you with a friendly dive center, depending on your preferences and skills. They will provide local knowledge and equipment as required. They also run learn to dive courses from beginner to Assistant Instructor,for ages 8 - 80. ( PADI Gold Palm Resort) which can easily fit within a week's stay.
The main diving spots are less than 10 miles from Poldown . Your family can join you on the beaches whilst you scuba.

On site facilities

We have ample drying space for your wetsuits and gear when you return, ready for the next day.
We will be pleased to discuss your program with you based on our own diving experience and knowledge of the area.
