Cycling opportunities.

West Cornwall is full of picturesque country lanes but not all are useful for cycling because of high hedges, blind corners and steep hills. The main roads can also become very busy in high season.
If carefully chosen however many routes can offer safe family cycling combined with other activities making it part of an enjoyable day out.

How and where

For those of you who are staying with us we are working on a number of cycling routes around Poldown which can be enjoyed safely and lead to a beach or a place to visit.

There are also two dedicated cycle tracks in West cornwall, which offer off-road family cycling.

We keep an extensive selection of maps and guides to suit all ambitions and abilities.

The site is a safe and secure environment to keep your bikes but we can offer a sheltered storage area if needed.
